Choose one operational problem
Ask where the team keeps searching for the same information. It may be quotation follow-up, maintenance requests or stock transfers between branches. Agree the process owner, required data and a useful outcome, without assuming a percentage saving in advance.
Design for daily local use
Review Arabic and English needs across interfaces and messages, Qatari riyal display and handovers between branches. These decisions should reflect your team and customers. A general translation or currency symbol alone does not make the experience suitable.
Include training and data preparation
Before migration, check duplicate customer names, data formats and update responsibilities. Define permissions and practical training for each role. Begin with a limited group, review feedback and then expand to other staff or branches.
Use the local context to plan the next step
MCIT’s SMEs Go Digital program supports SME digital transformation through tools including digital maturity assessments and tailored roadmaps. Check the ministry for current information. For your own project, begin with a workflow map, clear scope and a solution serving the priority you identified.
